Congrats to Maui!

Maui was recently accepted for the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Kyoto University, where she will work at the Graduate School of Management with Professor Tomoki Sekiguch. Her research will focus on algorithmic management, referring to systems that perform functions traditionally assigned to human managers, such as task allocation, monitoring, and feedback, often resulting in reduced human oversight. She plans to examine how algorithmic management affects employees cognitions, and individual work outcomes as well as social dynamics at the workplace.
