Congrats to Dr. Meaghan Tracy!

In her dissertation, Meaghan examined the occupational health effects of automation on workers in insecure employment (work precarity). Her research included an extensive theoretical review and refinement of the work precarity literature, along with a new framework for understanding the effects of work automation (one that captures not only what type of work is being automated, but how it is being automated). Her findings show that workers in highly precarious jobs tend to view workplace automation more negatively, which in turn increases their reported stress levels.
